Conservatives set out policy plans
The Conservatives have published a document outlining the 25 new policies that the party had revealed during the party conference week.
The 45-page document, "Leadership with a purpose", included a pledge to enable people to take out insurance for long term care in old age.
Party officials said it mapped out the future direction of the party under Iain Duncan Smith, defining failing public services as the key issue to be tackled.
None of the policies are costed and the FT notes that the document "barely mentions" the economy, tax, Europe, asylum or defence.
