Classroom 'informers' revealed

Pupils are being urged to reveal information about their parents to the government to help them discover why they may be failing at school.

The data - which is gathered without the consent of parents by the Connexions Service - includes reports of drink and drug abuse, depression, eating disorders and the frequency of domestic rows.
