Tory MPs criticise 'nasty' tag
Conservative backbenchers have criticised Theresa May's description of the Tory party as "nasty" during the party conference last week.
At a meeting of the 1922 committee, MPs voiced their anger at the description.
One said it was "very unhelpful" while another claimed "our constituents do not like being told they're nasty".
The reaction is a setback to Iain Duncan Smith who had warmly endorsed May's remarks.
