CBI calls for managers to be let into other boardrooms

The CBI has called for large companies to be allowed to encourage their senior managers to take non-executive directorships at smaller groups.

In its submission to the Higgs Review into non executive directors, the CBI argues that such a proposal would broaden the pool of talent available to sit on boards.
