Firemen set to vote on strike action
Members of the Fire Brigade Union are to be sent ballot papers today on whether to proceed with a national strike.
The votes are to be counted on October 18 which would make October 25 the first possible strike day.
Andy Gilchrist, head of the FBU has predicted "a significant Yes vote."
