The BBC has told Rod Liddle that he must choose between editing the Today programme for Radio Four and continuing his column for the Guardian.

Liddle was criticised for using his most recent newspaper column to criticise the Liberty and Livelihood march, a decision which was "a serious error of judgement", the BBC said.
