A Labour donor is taking John Prescott to court after the deputy prime minister rejected plans for a £100 million racecourse.

Wiggins, the property and airports group, filed a claim against Prescott demanding that judges reverse his decision not to grant planning permission on green belt land, despite it being approved by a planning inspector following a 13 month inquiry.
