Sex shop challenges Jobcentre ban

Lingerie and sex toy retail chain, Ann Summers, is threatening legal action against a government ruling banning it from advertising in Jobcentres for staff.

Jobcentres are barred from handling vacancies for the sex industry, but Ann Summers says its shops do not fall into that category.

The Department for Work and Pensions says the decision was taken "because our main task is to protect jobseekers from embarrassment or upset".
