EU price fixing hits poor farmers

A price fixing deal set up by Brussels, which pays farmers and firms up to three times the going world rate for their sugar, is allowing Europe's sugar industry to flood international markets at the expense of some of the world's poorest farmers, an Oxfam report claims today.
