Bishops to lose Lords seats
Labour MPs on the joint committee on the future of the House of Lords have predicted that Church of England bishops could be the next casualties of reform of the upper house.
Lord McNally, Liberal Democrat deputy leader in the Lords, has claimed that there will be insufficient support within the government for proposals by leader of the Lords Lord Williams to introduce pensions for peers.
