Tory peers blamed for failure of Marine Wildlife Bill

The British ports industry has been blamed for the collapse of a Conservative MP's bill designed to protect marine habitats.

The Royal Society for the Protection of Birds claimed a group of Tory peers, who had been briefed by the ports industry, was responsible for the failure of Marine Wildlife Conservation Bill.
