Football clubs lose court cash battle
The Football League yesterday failed in a court bid to recover money owed by ITV Digital. Hopes for 20 clubs facing bankruptcy were dashed when the High Court ruled that Carlton Communications and Granada were not liable for £178.5 million in debts.
