Mugabe woos 'loyal' white farmers
Robert Mugabe has ordered white farmers to end their defiance of eviction orders and leave the country.
Zimbabwe's president offered "genuine and well meaning" white farmers land to pursue a farming career as loyal citizens during his Hero's day sppech.
Mugabe focused his fire on a "colonialist" Britain, and did not order the sweeping crackdown on farmers that many had feared.
Writing in the Mail, Max Hastings warns of the "return of the dark continent" as whites leave Africa.
