Atheists demand voice on Today
Over 100 prominent non-believers have signed a letter protesting against the BBC's Today programme's "Thought for the Day" slot and its exclusion of atheists.
"By resolutely retaining the ban, the BBC is discriminating against the non-religious, and thus giving the impression of promoting religion as the one source of ethics. We call on the governors to end this ban," states the letter.
