Blair to lead GM PR campaign
The Telegraph today reports that Tony Blair himself is to lead a PR campaign to win the public's favour for GM crops to be grown commercially.
The last 18 experimental sites were announced yesterday.
An unnamed minister tells a number of papers that the public debate that goes alongside the final stage of crop trials is largely worthless.
"They're calling it a consultation, but don't be in any doubt, the decision is already taken," he tells the FT.
