Cabinet shells out for Queen's jubilee plate
The Queen received a silver gilt plate from Tony Blair last night - a gift from the cabinet to mark her Golden Jubilee.
The plate was inscribed with the signatures of all cabinet members.
Downing Street declined to confirm the cost, but ministers are believed to have paid £100 each for the gift.
