Blair faces challenge over care homes saga
At PMQs yesterday, Tony Blair was challenged over the state of the care homes sector.
Iain Duncan Smith claimed that the government's message to the elderly was "fend for yourself," after figures revealed an increase in the number of care home closures.
The Conservative leader also took the opportunity to criticise the Lambeth trial of treating cannabis users leniently.
In a separate exchange, the prime minister also confirmed to Charles Kennedy that there would be no return to student grants.
