NATS debt warnings ignored
The National Audit Office today criticises the Department of Transport for ignoring warnings that its part-privatisation of National Air Traffic Services would create "crippling" levels of debt, leaving it "vulnerable to adverse events".
The DoT also spent £17 million more on advisory costs than originally estimated.
