Delay euro poll urges union boss
Senior union leader Bill Morris - a key ally of Gordon Brown - yesterday urged the government to delay any euro referendum until after the next election.
Shadow chancellor Michael Howard will say today that joining the single currency would expose the UK to a "pensions time bomb" because of the failure of governments in the euro zone to reform their systems.
