MPs set for royal tour

Members of the Commons public accounts committee will today be given a private tour of Kensington Palace as part of an inquiry into grace and favour residences.

Royals with no public role who live there pay rents lower than council tenants in the same borough.

Prince and Princess Michael of Kent pay £70 a week for a luxury apartment with seven bedrooms and five reception rooms.
