Asylum poll reveals sympathetic Britain
A MORI poll published today to mark Refugee Week finds that British people are four times more likely to be sympathetic towards asylum seekers than they are to be negative. However, the survey also reveals generational differences, with 19 per cent of 15 to 18-year-olds welcoming refugees, compared to just over a quarter of adults.
