Union snubs Prescott bid
The RMT union has declined to sell a two-bedroomed house in Clapham, South London, to deputy prime minister, John Prescott.
Prescott offered the union £220,000 for the property, which he has rented at £220 per month for the past 30 years, however the RMT declined saying it was a "commercial matter".
