Women face 10 year wait for PMQs

A survey by the Times newspaper has found that only seven per cent of supplementary questions at PMQs since Easter have been asked by women MPs.

At the present, the newspaper estimates that it would take 10 years for all 118 women MPs to ask a question of Tony Blair.

A delegation of women MPs are seeking an urgent meeting with Michael Martin in an attempt to rectify the problem.
