Asylum action plan to disperse children
The Guardian today reports that "thousands of asylum-seeking children are to be bussed from London and the south-east" to locations throughout Britain as part of a new attempt to tackle asylum.
The British Red Cross has warned the government that plans for large asylum accommodation centres in rural areas could cause community tensions.
The organisation recommends smaller centres in more urban areas.
