A secret tape recording was made of a meeting between the prime minister's Middle East envoy, Lord Levy, and the Hinduja brothers it has been revealed.

Lord Levy claims he was working for Peter Mandelson by holding the meeting, at a time when Mandelson was in charge of the millennium dome to which the Hindujas donated.
