John Humphrys, the presenter of the BBC Radio 4 Today programme, described criticisms made of the programme by the Labour party as "absolute bollocks."

The general secretary of the party, David Triesman, had claimed that every guest on Today were treated as a "consummate liar trying to line their own pockets".
