UK bars boy soldiers from combat

The UK is to end the practice of sending under-18 year olds in to battle.

The armed forces will continue to recruit 15 year olds, a third of recruits are under 18, but they will no longer go into combat, bringing Britain into line with a UN protocol aimed at preventing children's involvement in wars.
