Tax rise for company car drivers

The Mail reports on a new 'petrol stealth tax' for three million company car drivers who are due to face a 16 per cent increase in tax on their fuel cards.

The Inland Revenue said: "The chancellor first announced in 1998 that he was introducing a five year programme of a 20 per cent increase above the pump price. He was very open about it."
