New TV and violence link

US researchers have claimed that watching more than an hour's television a day can turn a teenager into a violent adult.

Researchers from Columbia University and the New York State Psychiatric Institute studied over 700 children finding that those who spent an hour or more a day in front of the television were dramatically more likely to be aggressive and violent towards others in their late teens and early 20s than those who watched less TV.
