Ken Livingstone has said he would be "delighted" to be the official Labour candidate at the next London mayoral election.

Livingstone's comments will keep up the pressure on Millbank to determine whether to scrap his five-year expulsion from the party or field a candidate in what could be a political kamikaze mission.
