Tube strikes on the way
Tube drivers have voted for industrial action in a dispute over pay.
The two main rail unions, Aslef and the RMT, have agreed to join forces in order to maximise disruption.
The unions have accused London Underground of backtracking on a deal to close the £1600 gap in pay between the drivers of passengers and engineering trains.
Members of the RMT union voted nine to one in favour of a strike on a 50 per cent turnout.
Aslef is expected to announce a similar result later today.
