The House of Commons Commission will chose a successor to the outgoing parliamentary standards commissioner, Elizabeth Filkin, on Monday.

Robin Cook, leader of the Commons and a member of the commission, said the shortlist had been reduced to two or three candidates. No names have yet been revealed.
