'Bonkers' housing policies criticised
The NHS and Metropolitan police are selling of flats and houses at the same time as the government is offering nurses and police officers interest free loans to buy homes. "It is daft to flog off assets when there is a real need for rented accommodation," said Steve Walker of Tower Homes, a not-for-profit housing association.
