The Press Complaints Commission has upheld Downing Street objections to press reports about the prime minister's eldest son.

The watchdog upheld a complaint by the Blairs over reports about Euan Blair's possible choice of university.

The commission said the reports amounted to an unnecessary invasion of the 17-year-old's privacy.
