Downing Street has detailed progress that has been made in the first 100 days of the "war against terror".

Number 10 yesterday released a document entitled "100 Days...100 Ways; 100 Days of Fighting International Terrorism".

Congratulating the international coalition on progress made since September 11 the government included a list of critical articles under the headline "media views which have proved to be wrong".

New York officials yesterday put the number of victims of the attack on the World Trade centre at under 3000.
