Minister hints at review of same sex partnerships

Baroness Morgan, the minister who heads the government's Equality Unit, has signalled that the government is set to review the rights of gay couples.

In an exclusive interview with ePolitix.com she said the public had already begun debating whether lesbian and gay couples should have the same rights in law as their heterosexual counterparts - pledging to examine the same-sex registration scheme established in London.

The Express says her remarks have prompted "fury" amongst family values groups.
