Transport secretary Stephen Byers ommitted to tell MPs this week that a fifth terminal at Heathrow would increase the risk of a fatal air crash, it has emerged. The warning was made by the T5 planning inspector in his report to the government - although it was left out of Tuesday's Commons statement.
