Tories to consider BBC radio sell-off
Shadow culture secretary, Tim Yeo, has hinted that Conservative plans could include the privatisation of BBC radio stations.
In today's edition of "Broadcast" magazine, he claims that the music stations, such as Radio One and Radio Two, are not "an essential part of public service broadcasting".
He says: "They could be privatised. There does need to be a pretty hard look at who does provide that sort of programming."
