Farmers want to restart hunting
Farmers are seeking the end of curbs on hunting, set up during the foot andf mouth crisis, in order to cope with Britain's growing fox population.
Although the farming community believes the right balance needs to be struck between the need to control foxes before next year's lambing season and the risk of spreading foot and mouth by any hunt activities, animal welfare groups are urging the government to put a hunting bill back on the parliamentary agenda.
