NHS goes public-private
Health and local authorities and family doctors are set to be given equity stakes in private-public partnerships aimed at creating 500 one-stop primary care centres.
The initiative, to be launched in July, will be the first time the NHS will share in the profit or loss of privately financed joint ventures.
