The Mirror says the "final boot in the ballots for Boring Billy" Hague is the revelation that Tony Blair wears "sexy" Calvin Klein underpants.

Blair is reported to have given a couple of female journalists a glimpse of his underwear when he changed his shirt on the election trail.

One said: "They were the jazzy sort with a thick white band and designer writing. His chest is modestly muscular and, while not a Greek job, it's certainly hairier than Hague's head."

None of the three main party leaders were prepared to comment. The paper's front page began life as a diary item in the Evening Standard.
