MPs are failing to properly scrutinise laws made in Brussels, research released yesterday claims. The study conducted by a Liberal Democrat MEP, Chris Davies, reveals that only 79 questions were asked last year on the work of the EU council of ministers out of a total of 41,000 questions tabled.
