Greens launch manifesto
The Greens launch a manifesto that attacks globalisation, free trade and big business.
The 18-page document, "Reach for the future", focuses on "sustainability" and redistribution calling for reform to the WTO to be replaced by a UN body promoting sustainable trade, economic justice and localisation. The Green Party is standing 140 candidates. The manifesto also backs cannabis legalisation, rail nationalisation, a ban on GM and opposition to the euro.
