The anti-abortionist Pro-Life Alliance has lost a court case over its election broadcast showing "offensive" images of aborted foetuses.

The BBC has banned the ad on the grounds of taste. The judge, Justice Scott said: "The BBC is not preventing the election broadcast. It is saying it cannot condone these images of an offensive nature".
