Postal workers win concessions

"Wildcat" postal strikes have been called off and postal workers are returning to work after Consignia managers agreed to concessions at the Watford depot that sparked the protests.

The postal service faces a backlog of 50 million letters and parcels and will take up to two weeks to clear.

The Communications Workers Union has a new "left-wing" leader, Billy Hayes.
