Labour plans long-term 'concordat' for elderly care

Labour has denied that its new "concordat two" on long-term care would mean increased charging for elderly patients.

The agreement will set a new framework for the commissioning of long-term nursing and residential home places as well as providing for more people to be looked after at home, health minister John Hutton tells the Times.
