Anger flares over bill for new year fiasco

A row has erupted over who should pay the £1.6 million cancellation bill submitted by Sir Bob Geldof for the cancelled new year's celebrations in London.

Keith Hill, the minister for London, and Ken Livingstone, London's mayor, are arguing over who actually signed the contract with Geldof's company.
