The Church of England has "betrayed" hundreds of families living in low-cost homes around Waterloo in London, according to protestors.

The campaigners are saying that the Church has abandoned a 100-year-old commitment to provide low-cost housing on inner-city estates by raising rents to £1,500 per month in homes traditionally set aside for low-income families.
