BMA to confront ministers

The BMA will seek to embarrass ministers during the general election campaign by making public a "dossier" of cases where patients have suffered as a result of doctors having to cut corners because of cash shortages in the NHS. Whilst the doctors' body will not publicly endorse any party, the move should add weight to Tory claims that Labour is failing to deliver on their promises over improvements in the NHS.
