The troubled Huntingdon Life Sciences company will discover today if it has secured a last minute cash injection to save it from bankruptcy.

If no deal has been achieved by the animal testing company the Royal bank of Scotland will pull the plug on the company's £22.6 million overdraft.

The company may now look to the US to secure future funding.
